Tarang Katira
Founder; CEO @TK-Advisory
Tarang Katira is the Founder and CEO of TK-Advisory, a boutique advisory firm which helps businesses with growth strategy and fundraising advice. In 2018, Tarang was named as a Rising Star in Private Equity’s “25 under 40” list by the Financial News. Prior to starting his own business, Tarang co-led the EMEA fund investment practice for private equity and venture capital investment giant Hamilton Lane, helping deploy $9bn-$11bn of capital a year into Europe. Before spending almost a decade with Hamilton Lane, Tarang was a Strategy and M&;A advisor at PwC, and also spent various stints at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and RBS. Tarang holds an MA and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and passed all his CFA and CAIA exams in his first attempt.

Alpesh Patel
Dealmaker at Department for International Trade, Hedge fund and Private Equity Manager
Alpesh Patel is a barrister turned fund manager. He is a Financial Times author and has had over 200 investment columns published. He is a UK Government Dealmaker responsible for Middle East and Asia Pacific and bringing high growth tech companies to the UK. He is co-Chair of the Loomba Trust which supports widows and orphans. A former Visiting Fellow in Business at Oxford University, he was a founding member of the UK India Business Council and TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) which mentors entrepreneurs. He previously presented his investment show on Bloomberg TV helping regular people learning about finance and investing. The then PM appointed him to the UK India Roundtable to advise Government on building closer UK India ties. He does the BBC World News Paper Review to a global audience of 300m and uses it when he can to give a ‘Hindu’ perspective and also lectures annually at Oxford University on Hinduism and Leadership for the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies to a management audience.
